Tea Ceremony

I was very lucky to have the opportunity to attend a real japanese tea ceremony.
The performer, the very very good Yuko, showed me and other 3 guess all the detailed procedure, from the preparation of the of all the equipment to the real serving moment of the sweets (oishii!) and the tea.

There are 2 kind of tea used for the gatherings, the matcha, with the powder of the green tea, and the sencha, from the infusion of the leaves. Our ceremony was a sencha ceremony, maybe less refined tea but very good!
For the perfect procedure, name of equipments used, see on wikipedia because wakaranai! ;)
But I just can say that the quiet atmosfere of the room, the elegant movements of the performer, the taste of the traditional sweet and of the green tea is one of the best reason to love Japan.
